GREATER CINCINNATI FOUNDATION GRANTS FOR CREATIVE SCHOOL PROJECTS

Return to Top Stories Home

The Greater Cincinnati Foundation is accepting applications for Learning Links, a funding program designed to support memorable learning experiences for students of all ages. Previous Learning Links grants have supported supporting programs like these:

* Elementary school students, teachers and parents created a community garden. The garden provided a hands-on learning environment and fostered community involvement at the school.

* Fifth graders are worked with the author of Trouble Don't Last, a book about the Underground Railroad to learn how to research and write historical fiction.

Learning Links provides small grants to teachers in the GCF service area for special projects that have a positive impact on schools. The goal of Learning Links is to encourage resourceful and innovative activities with budgets of up to $1,000. Deadline and information is available at www.greatercincinnatifdn.org.
