| THINK History is a professional development program for grades 6-12 social studies educators in Southeastern Ohio. This program combines the resources of the Perry-Hocking Educational Resource Center, the Ohio Historical Society and Ohio University to support and improve the teaching of traditional American history.
The school-year program consists of four Saturday seminars and a local history workshop. Participants also attend a research workshop at the Ohio Historical Center in Columbus, gathering primary source materials for use in the classroom. The program culminates in a four-day residential Summer Institute in June.
The staff of THINK History thanks all the teachers who participated in the program from 2005-2009. If you are interested in more professional development please visit the THINK History II website. |
