Teaching American History Discussion Network

Return to Home

If you’re involved with or participating in an Ohio TAH grant project, think about joining the Teaching American History Discussion network. This listserv group covers the activities, issues, and content related to the Teaching American History program of the US Department of Education. The Organization of American Historians and H-Net operate it as a joint venture in cooperation with the Department of Education. The network links project directors, teacher participants, content providers, local education agencies, and public stakeholders through discussions, a TAH project link database, documents, and announcements.

Discussions offer a wide range of helpful information and advice. Recent discussions have focused on field trip recommendations, the optimum number of teachers to enroll in a TAH grant project, and debriefing of the April TAH project meeting in Pittsburgh . Join your colleagues across the nation in lively and provocative discussions.

Thomas Thurston of Yale University and Kelly Woestman of Pittsburg (KS) State University edit the H-TAH listserv.
