Applying for a TAH Grant

The U.S. Department of Education posted guidelines for the 2006 grant period on December 6, 2005. The Administration has requested approximately $119,000,000 for new awards in FY 2006, subject to congressional approval. Proposals must be submitted electronically.

Important Dates

Deadline for Transmittal of Applications: Closed March 9, 2007
Deadline for Intergovernmental Review: May 8, 2007

There are three new invitational priorities this year relating to teacher quality, adequate yearly progress, and high school assessments. Applicants are expected to address these new priorities.
